6.11.23 Kody & Amanda

The three weeks of sunshine stopped on Kody and Amanda’s wedding day but they could care less about the rain. They had the beautiful Columbia Ballroom for their venue. And they were getting married with their three children as their wedding party.

Making the small wedding even more special was Amanda’s cousin playing the guitar for the processional/recessional as the bride was escorted in by her 8 yr. old son.

There is no doubt that this is a happy family. Blessings to all of them!

6.10.23 Jake & Kristen

After three weeks of no rain, the weather continued to be perfect for the wedding of Jake and Kristen. And the bride and groom couldn’t be more beautiful themselves - inside and out.

This wedding was held on the first hole of The Mayfield Sand Ridge Club in South Euclid. This was an incredibly top notch venue for a very classy wedding. Champagne was flowing freely or nearly 200 guests.

I particularly enjoyed the harpist during the ceremony. So many weddings use DJs but there is nothing like the sound of live music.

Wishing this lovely couple many happy years of love and blessings.

5.26.23 Matthew & Nicole

It was the perfect day for Matthew and Nicole’s wedding on the patio of the Weymouth Country Club. Nicole was gorgeous in a full length lace gown. Although she was nervous about saying her vows at the rehearsal, she was calm and composed and delivered them perfectly at the ceremony. Matthew was very confident and sincere in his vows.

Matthew literally swept Nicole off her feet by picking her up for the kiss which made for a fun and memorable photo. Such a loving and sweet couple.

5.20.23Joe & Alexxis

The Westin in downtown Cleveland was the elegant scene for the wedding of the Dr. Joe and Alexxis. They very happily said “I do” in front of 150 friends and family. They were both quite calm and sincere throughout the ceremony. A very tall and lovely couple inside and out. Wishing them only the best.

5.6.23 Dylan & Cheyenne

Dylan & Cheyenne were a bit nervous at the wedding at the Rockefeller Garden Center. But love took over during the ceremony and their smiles said it all. It was a perfect spring day for a wedding and all went well. They make a very sweet couple.

5.5.23 Drew & Elyse

Windows on the River was the perfect setting for the wedding of Drew and Elyse - industrial and unique. This was really a fun wedding with a Star Wars/Star Trek theme. Elyse could have easily passed for Princess Leia with her star studded dress and, thankfully, without the side buns. Drew had a tie matching her lovely dress.

Both were very excited along with their 150 or so exuberant family and guests.

They chose to have a Unity Time Capsule ceremony where they wrote love letters to each other that will be opened and read on their first anniversary. And they also encouraged their guests to add their best wishes to the capsule with notes or mementos of the the day. That should be very interesting!

Live long and prosper, Drew and Elyse!

4.29.23 Amy & Jennie

Love was in the air at the wedding of Amy and Jennie. After being a couple for 11 years, they and the guests were so excited to be a part of this celebration.

Although some of the guests and I had difficulty getting to the Mingo Lodge in Sand Run Metro Park because of road closings, the energy was high.

Green, white and black were the wedding colors with Amy wearing an “emerald” crown. Jennie was lovely in a full-length white gown and veil. Both women carried beautiful bouquets.

The wedding party was wonderfully diverse with the Best Man being happy to hold Amy’s bouquet during the ceremony. And a fun and sweet element was that the ring bearer and flower girl were Jennie’s grandparents. Her grandfather pushed his wife in a wheel chair while she strew flowers in the aisle.

At the rehearsal, the couple presented me with a great t-shirt that says “Reverend with PRIDE” that I will wear proudly. It goes with their shirts that say “Bride with PRIDE.”

This was one of the most joyful and fun weddings that I have ever performed and will always remember. Wishing them so much love and happiness.

4.22.23 Chris & Lauren

Chris and Lauren’s dream came true with their wedding at the spectacular Amasa Stone Chapel in University Circle. The chapel was build int 1907 in the 14th century English Gothic Style. The windows of the chapel have been recognized as an excellent example of ecclesiastical glass and the backdrop for incredible photos of the wedding couple.

This was a very formal wedding with Lauren looking stunning in a classic off the shoulder satin dress with a huge train. Chris was very handsome in a classic black tux. Both were happy, calm and beaming in love’s glow.

Beautiful, classical organ music complemented this wedding and the extraordinary venue.

The 150 guests were very enthusiastic in wishing this couple many blessings.

3.25.23 Phillip & Taylor

Phillip and Taylor couldn't have been more happy at their wedding this past weekend at The Galaxy in Wadsworth. Both had continual smiles on their faces throughout the service.

I married this beautiful couple in front of 160+ people who also were smiling a lot. When asked "Do all of you give your blessing for this couple to live in love, joy and prosperity?" this crowd responded with a very enthusiastic "We do!"

Taylor looked stunning in a beautiful full-length lace gown and Phillip was beaming with a sage tie that matched the wedding colors.

And what a lovely family they both have. I enjoyed talking with several of them, particularly a 90-year old great aunt who is an Ursuline nun.

Wishing this sweet couple all the love and happiness in the world.

3.5.23 Tom & Ava

Joy, joy, joy! That’s what Tom and Ava’s wedding was all about. I could feel the incredible energy as soon as I walked into the room. I married this lovely couple at The Aviator - the newly renovated event center that was the 100th Bomb Squad across the street from Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

It was a picture perfect day to watch air traffic but all eyes were on the happy couple. This was a casual wedding with about 25 or so guests with lots of photo taking before the ceremony. And for me, it was wonderful to see another couple that I married five years ago - Ava’s mother and step-father.

Tom or Tomasz, which is his Polish name, looked very handsome and just a bit overwhelmed with all the busyness going on around him. Ava was a beaming beautiful bride not only because she was getting married to her best friend but also because she was marrying the father of her child. With Ava being almost eight months pregnant, I was very happy that baby Lucas did not decide to be an additional guest to the wedding!

The ceremony went smoothly until the end when the very enthusiastic and inpatient guests could not wait to let me present the couple as Mr. and Mrs. They started clapping and rushing up front to congratulate the couple as soon as I pronounced them husband and wife and they kissed. What a joyous crowd! It was so much fun to be part of such a special wedding

I know that Tom and Ava will have a beautiful life together as they celebrate their marriage and welcome their baby boy to such a loving family.

Will & Tarra - 12.31.23

A New Year’s Eve wedding - how romantic is that? A new life in a new year for Will and Tarra and their little 4 lb. chihuahua, Peanut, who served as their ring bearer. They chose to wait until the wedding party and the both of them walked down the aisle to have Peanut come down. The groom’s sister let him loose in his Santa outfit and he ran down and jumped into the loving arms of his Mama. What a fun way to start a wedding!

After being a couple for seven years, Will and Tarra were so ready to get married. They both beamed throughout the service with little Peanut occasionally and adorably whining for attention. So cute!

They lovingly said their personally-written vows to each other and then locked them in a Wine Box ceremony. In five years they will open the box and reread them to each other. Such a lovely tradition.

The wedding was held at Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland. The venue was beautifully decorated for the wedding and New Year’s Eve.

Wishing them much love and happiness in 2023 as they start this next chapter in the lives with Peanut and his newly adopted sister, Butter Cup.

10.29.22 - Joe & Emily

Joe and Emily were married at Blue Heron in Medina on another perfect Fall day. Although we did not have a rehearsal, the ceremony went very smoothly - even when their little 3-year old son decided he wanted to stay with Daddy. But as soon as the ceremony started, his Best Woman took the little guy and he was fine.

Emily looked like a fairy princess in a very full, beautiful gown. Joe was very handsome and beaming when he saw his bride. They both were smiling and even laughing some times during the ceremony each enjoy their special moment.

They make such a sweet family. Wishing them much love and happiness with their adorable son.

10.8.22 - Vincent & Sasha

Vincent and Sasha’s wedding was one of the most non-traditional looking weddings I have ever performed. Sasha was stunning in a magnificent long gown with a short train that glowed. It’s hard to say what color it was since it was almost iridescent and certainly nothing like I have ever seen before. Steven was in a burgundy suit that complemented Sasha’s dress perfectly. The bride also wore a crown of flowers that reflected Mother Earth. So unique and lovely.

The bride and groom were beaming with love through the whole ceremony that took place in Sasha’s parents lovely back yard. We were on a dock overlooking their lake that was attached to a gazebo. And it couldn’t have been a more beautiful fall day with a bright blue sky.

Such a lovely couple and family. There is no doubt that these two were made for each other and will have a happy and loving life.

10.22.22 - Steven and Nai-Ning

A Tea Ceremony made the wedding of Steven and Nai-Ning very special - particularly for their parents. This was a lovely and meaningful ceremony where the bride and groom served their parents tea as a gesture of their love and gratitude. Nai-Ning is Taiwanese and this is a tradition in her culture.

The bride and groom were so very happy - literally beaming through the whole ceremony, sometimes through tears of joy.

I received a beautiful, handmade corsage made of light wood that was made by the bride’s mother who also made all the corsages and boutonnières. And the groom’s mother made the bride’s and Maid of Honor’s bouquets of satin flowers. Very talented mothers!

This was the first wedding where the bride had three bridesmen instead of bridesmaids along with a Maid of Honor.

It was an emotional and very touching ceremony for a sweet couple and their lovely families. Wishing them love and light in their new life together.

Bryan & Caitlyn - 10.14.22

I was honored go to officiate at the wedding of my cousin, Sandy’s granddaughter. Caitlyn and Bryan were married at Mapleside Farms in Brunswick. If you haven’t been to Mapleside for awhile, you need to go, especially this time of the year. They have expanded greatly and The Barn, where the wedding took place is gorgeous.

The ceremony was held outdoors in front of The Barn which was pretty nippy that day at 55 degrees and very windy. But the sun helped a lot and didn’t bother Caitlyn and Bryan at all. They had their love to keep them warm as the song goes.

Their three children were all in the wedding party. The two little girls were adorable and made it down the aisle but the baby was sound asleep when we started. So they decided not to wake him up by having the ring bearer bring him down in a wagon.

All went well and this young couple looked so happy that their big day was finally here.

10.2.22 Slim & Courtney

Another beautiful Fall day for the wedding of Slim and Courtney at the Case Barlowe farm in Hudson. What a great venue in a historical setting.

Slim is from Tunisia and was so happy that his father could be there to witness and bless his marriage. His mother could not be there in person but watched via live stream. Isn’t technology wonderful?

Courtney looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder long gown. Slim was very handsome and beaming with happiness.

Don’t let the photo fool you. I was dressed properly for the ceremony. It was just because John and our little dog, Ellie, accompanied me to the wedding. We went to a Fall Festival after and so I brought a change of clothes. The timing didn’t work out very well for my Facebook photo with them. 😁

Sending many blessings to them for a loving and joyful life.

10.1.22 Patrick & Sarah

It was a beautiful, crisp Fall day for the wedding of Patrick and Sarah. The energy was high for these two childhood sweethearts that have been together for 13 years.

Sarah looked lovely if a full length gown accented by a bouquet of Fall flowers. Patrick couldn’t stop smiling the whole time being thrilled to be marrying his best friend.

Friends and family were excited and happy for this sweet couple. Wishing them love and prosperity in the future.

9.24.22 Abigail & Jessica

This was a surprise wedding! The guests thought Abigail and Jessica were married in Las Vegas and they were coming to a wedding reception. The couple decided to not get married in Las Vegas and surprised their guests with me! The wedding was held at the very beautiful Marble Room in downtown Cleveland. They waited until all their guests arrived and then had them assemble in the lobby of the room downstairs where the reception was being held. They contacted the host upstairs to bring me down in the elevator. I walked out into the lobby to the surprise of all their startled guests. I quickly got myself together and performed the ceremony for these two lovely young women.

They were so excited and smiled the whole time. Both looked beautiful in white and so much in love. Although some of the guests were a bit stunned - like their parents - the atmosphere was that of pure joy.

Wishing them much love and happiness in their new life together!

9.17.22 - Dylan & Brittany

Another picture perfect day for a wedding. Dylan and Brittany were happily married at Tall Timbers Resort in New Philadelphia in front of about 100 friends and family. Brittany looked so beautiful in a form-fitting, full length lace dress. Dylan was very handsome in a fashionable, grey tux.

Nerves were running high but everything went smoothly. Their adorable 4-year old flower girl almost stole the show as she first refused to scatter the rose petals. Grandmother came to help and the flower girl immediately picked up every petal grandma tossed. So cute!

Wishing them lots of love and blue skies forever.

8.12.22 Anthony & Sasha

It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for Anthony and Sasha’s wedding in beautiful Geneva. The ceremony took place in the renovated barn of the Running Horse Farm. The couple’s darling little girl did a great job as flower girl taking her job very seriously. Their infant son though decided that he didn’t want to have any part of the wedding by riding in a wagon.

Although Sasha was nervous about saying her vows, she did a wonderful job as did Anthony. They both looked so happy afterward when the pressure was off.

Drinks were served from a horse trailer that was remade into a traveling bar. Very cool. Then the reception took place on the second floor of the barn. A very interesting venue for a lovely couple.
